Faun Kitten Pendant with 12 Design Reveals | Mould by Ravn Cotino | Polyurethane or Epoxy Resin

This fantastic Faun Kitten silicone mould by Ravn Cotino is a great example to showcase some of the amazing designs you can achieve with resin. The addition of a pair of glass cabochons placed into the mould before pouring creates super-realistic eyes, which can be customised to any shape, style or colour.

For this project I use Axson F180 Polyurethane resin, which is fast setting, extremely low viscosity, and impact resistant for a durable cast. The resin can be coloured with special polyurethane pigments, or surface effects can be achieved by painting directly onto the mould with acrylic paint or mica powder.

To make custom cabochons, for best results use metallic pearl printer paper and an inkjet printer. I used an Epson XP-355, which is one of the cheapest colour printers on the market.
