If you are thinking about training at home, it would benefit you to have a grappling mat. It cuts down on rug burns and can be great for tumbling and throws. I got some of those puzzle piece style grappling mats and they were great because you can set them up to fit any space that you have to train in. Plus they can come apart in sections for convenient transport and they also easily fold away when you are not using them. Here is a link to the same foam tiles I got on Amazon, they are very much well worth the investment - I guarantee that you will thank me later, my brothers and sisters of the gentle art!
