DIY | Easy Eco Friendly Gift Wrap • Last Minute Gift Ideas

One of my goals this holiday season was to cut back on the waste I generate when I buy wrapping paper - after all, it's paper that's pricey and meant to go straight into the garbage after one use. Here are 3 ideas for simple and eco-friendly gift wrap, made with items around the house!

IDEA 1: REUSE GROCERY BAGS

Use kraft paper grocery bags to wrap your presents. A lot of grocery stores come out with holiday paper bags, and are perfect for this because they're already decorated and they're eco-friendly!

IDEA 2: UPCYCLE SHIPPING BOXES

Who else is guilty of doing a lot of online shopping nowadays? The box I used is from when I purchased a vegan nail polish online, but amazon boxes work just as well ;)

IDEA 3: ORIGAMI PAPER BOXES

Got any pretty scrapbook paper laying around? Cut them into squares (if they're not in a square shape already) and fold them into boxes! If my video is too fast, I like these tutorials: https://www.paperkawaii.com/origami-photo-tutorials/
